 but let's get right into it and dive into swal there if Western Lofoten is your final destination then you're probably going to be landing in horse dad and then have to drive down there and so smaller will be on your way and it's about a two to two and a half hour drive from har step if you're traveling east so if you take a ferry from 

either  or somewhere else to Reine or most canoes then you'll have about a two and a half hour drive east to get to swoll there for us personally we were actually as I said earlier traveling from señor prior to this so we had a five to six hour drive from Senya to spoil there but honestly it was a totally beautiful drive and the time went by really quickly and if you're as lucky as we were you might even run into some of the local wildlife and have yourself a bit 

of an experience hey hey get off he doesn't care he keeps trying to cut me off you won't let me get back in the car crazy reindeer dad's in the car but he will not let me back in watch I've only got my 70-200 on so it might be kind of hard to show you guys lift let's see if you'll let me go now see look he's cutting me off I go this way these color now when it comes to accommodations for Barry you pretty much have your pick it's one of the biggest I guess you could say urban centers in all of Lofoten

 and so you have everything from hostels backpacker style to fancy hotels to those really trendy little restored old fishing houses little red houses that you see in all the photos in Norway everywhere but we chose a place called fast hotel I love the concept of places like this because it's one of the cheaper options in small bear and that's because it's pretty much a self-serve hotel so what happens is you book your room online and then when you get there you check yourself in on the little 

computer that I have in the front reception area make your payment there as well and then you receive a text message or an email with your room number and code and then you're off to the races  something that is also pretty cool about fast hotel is that every morning you get a breakfast and it's pretty basic you kind of get some bread jam cutlery like a bit of cheese ham really basic stuff comes in a nice little cooler bag the hanging on your door but it's kind of just like a nice little extra thing that will 

save you a few bucks every morning all right so now that I told you a little bit about some accommodation we can get on to the fun stuff which is all the activities in the area so for morning activity I highly recommend going out on a boat and going to see the seagulls they are incredible creatures they have the largest wingspan of Google in the world for any Eagle which is really cool and there's so much fun to watch and if your wildlife nerd like me or Wildlife Photographer you'll absolutely love this experience the landscapes are also super gorgeous from the water 

there's a few different companies who operate the tuners and I'm pretty sure that all of them also take you on a little side trip during your Eagle viewing to go and see the famous trollfjord which is just a really nice few or basically it's like a little sliver of ocean that cuts into land that's got some really dramatic mountains surrounding the water and it's really beautiful definitely worth a visit as well okay you ready okay

thank you when you get back to town from the Eagle tour you're probably gonna be hungry and since you're already on the water by the wharf you might as well find somewhere to eat down there and there's no shortage of places to eat so when you get back to town I recommend just choosing a place like catches your eye that's got some good reviews and just go from there and enjoy some food by the water and Gary for a big afternoon now for the afternoon I highly recommend heading west of the city there's a bunch of different activities to choose from there's an arctic

 aquarium if you're into that sort of thing there's a couple different museums it's not - your vibe there's all sorts of different things like nice walks photography options the landscapes everywhere incredible you can't drive like five minutes without wanting to stop and also you can take a quick stop into the visitor center center of town if you're there during the hours of operation and you can go and ask them for recommendations and they're super super helpful but for me personally I knew 

exactly what I wanted to do for the afternoon so right now we are in Hennings very which is most well known for its soccer pitch on a little tiny island in the middle of the sea Hennings vert is a town that is a bunch of littlle 

10 it is just 15 minute drive down the road from spall there and if you're headed down kind of more to the southern part of Wolfe attend the western part it's totally on your way and it's barely a detour so definitely worth a stop yeah I'll stop talking here's the footage enjoy [Music] [Music] is that what they are for strong Iraq so all of these is where they dry the cod after they catch it I think Cod season what do they say that's like January to April all of northern Norway is just going Cod crazy and they're all catching cod and it's actually pretty

 much what sustains the economy up here as well as tourism now which is growing dramatically year by year but fishing is definitely what keeps all of these tiny towns running so hopefully you guys enjoy that aerial footage of the Hennings of our stadium so epic especially from the sky I mean it's so decent from the ground because you have this big mountain that's kind of hidden right here in the backdrop but from the air I just think it's like unbeatable one of the most unique stadiums 

anywhere in the world that I've ever seen  but don't be like this one guy who is just here and hovering over the village like go out to sea get your photo get your footage and like just be respectful of the people around and be respectful with other tourists and don't like hover over people's heads you're ruining it for the rest of us anyways that's my rant last stop of the day is a hike that's going to give us amazing views up and down the coast both south and north

 I'm not even gonna try and pronounce it for you guys because I know I'll butcher it and there's heaps of information about it online if you just google it but I will put some links in the description for you below in case you feel like checking it out again it's just like a 10-minute Drive from swell there so totally worth it for either 

your sunrise or your sunset hike all right so just so we're halfway as you can see I've already made some pretty good ground it's bloody steep but like almost either rich super excited to get there that height was phenomenal guys I highly recommend it if you're going too small there because not only is it like literally five minute drive from the center of town but the views you get like up down both coasts north/south the full 180 is just unbelievable and you know if you caught an epic sunrise or sunset up there it would probably just absolutely blow your mind so definitely recommend 

checking that hike out by the time we got back from the hike it was pretty darn late and because we're there in shoulder season not a lot of things were open and unfortunately we you know we didn't do our research beforehand otherwise we would have known that we had to be back a bit sooner but you know we always push it to the limit and try and squeeze as much as we can into a day so we're 

running behind so we basically just went into town saw what was open and the place that was open that had the best reviews was this Chinese restaurant so he went in we were like one of only two parties in the whole restaurant but the food was amazing and that's all that matters so this little Chinese restaurant called Niihau we went to right on the waterfront as well so that was really good but that's a good tip for you guys when you're planning your trip if you're going in a shoulder season where 

people aren't there for the Midnight Sun in the summer and people aren't there for the Northern Lights and winter but it's kind of shoulder season in-between definitely make sure you check the hours of places hours of operation because a lot of places have reduced hours during these times because there's just no demand for it so many places we went into we would be the only ones there sitting down to eat which was cool like we had places all to ourselves and my dad and I both kind of liked it 

quieter vibe every once in a while so that was cool but definitely do research to make sure you don't go and starve yourself well guys those are my recommendations for 24 hours in spall there that was pretty much as long as we were there for we had two nights but we left super early the next morning so yeah we basically just had 24 hours and I'd say we squeezed as much of swoll hair as we possibly could in those

hours and we have a great time my recommendation would be if you're passing through stop for a bit spend the night and see what it has to offer because it's a great spot the Eagles are awesome there's hikes all around not just the one I showed you guys but there's there's so many more you can actually hike up onto the top of the mountain that is behind heading this variant that I showed you guys and then you get that view that I had with the drone out to the sea and you can see how all the little islands are connected by the bridges and that looks beautiful seen it all over .
